Bancha Natsuhi (200g)
CHF 18.00

Bancha is a green tea made from ripe tea leaves obtained after the second and third harvest of Sencha. Banca is a popular everyday tea in Japan with a robust and slightly grassy flavor and a light yellow hue. Its naturally low caffeine content makes it perfect to drink at any time of day.

The name Natsuhi means summer light, indicating that the tea leaves for this aromatic tea are harvested in early summer (June), during the second harvest (Nibancha).
All of Chiyonoen`s teas are grown 100% organically, without the use of chemical fertilizers.

Chiyonoen is a small tea farm run by the husband and wife team of Masashi and Eri Harashima. Yame is one of the most famous tea growing areas in Japan, the area is very mountainous, Chiyonoen`s cultivation areas are located at an altitude of 600m above sea level. In winter, the tea bushes are often covered with snow, which is rather unusual for tea cultivation.
