Meidō Sōsen (1768–1837)

Born into the Tashio family of the Sasayama domain. Became a Zen priest under the monk Tomei of Daitokuji Temple. Resident of Shoruiji Temple in Katada, Shiga. The 429th head of Daitokuji.
