TOKYO BRUNCH 3
CHF 48.00CHF 38.40

If you want to conjure up a touch of chic 50s retro atmosphere on the table with your glasses, you should pay attention to the TOKYO BRUNCH glass series from HIROTA. Available in 5 variations, it was created by Ejjiro Hirota in 1950 and received the Sumida Modern Brand recognition in 2011.

The elegant patterns of the glasses, inspired by plant leaves and flowers, including wild grass, palm leaves and roses, are cut into the glass.

Tokyo has a tradition of glass-cutting techniques: as early as the 19th century, workshops emerged that processed pebbles, the main ingredient in glass, which came from Fukushima Prefecture, and embellished the resulting objects by cutting ornaments into them.

CRAFTSMANSHIP FROM TOKYO
Founded in Tokyo in 1899 by Kinta Hirota, Hiroto Glass has established itself as one of the pioneers of Japanese glassware. In recent years, Hirota Glass has created its own distinctive style by harmonizing traditional European glassmaking techniques and Japanese craftsmanship. Staying true to its classic designs and pre-war influences, Hirota Glass pushes glass craftsmanship to the extreme.
